This is a small part of a fold-out tourist brochure published by the SEMO Regional Planning and Economic Development Commission, probably in the mid 1980s. Of particular interest is a small inset map showing quite a few obscure place-names within Cape Girardeau, Bollinger, Madison, Iron, Perry, Ste. Genevieve, and St. Francois Counties.
One side of the brochure (not scanned in) shows the "The Old Settlement Trail", an auto tour route through the region. Other maps include "Indian Trails and Post Roads", a rendering of a 1765 map, and a map of old and new mining operations.
A note on the brochure states, "This material is the result of tax-supported research and, as such, is not copyrightable. It may be freely reprinted with the customary crediting of the source." (It would be much easier to credit the source if they would have given the publication date, though...)
